News of the Day — 6/28/16

The State Conservation Commission will be meeting on Monday, July 18 from 1pm – 2pm. The meeting will be held by teleconference. Instructions for accessing the teleconference and a meeting agenda CAN BE VIEWED HERE.

This is a special summer meeting and will focus on items that need to be addressed prior to the September Commission meeting. The usual program reports (grants, loans, and partner) will be addressed at the next Commission meeting.

This meeting is being held in a physically accessible place. Individuals needing assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, should contact the Division of Resource Conservation and Forestry (605-773-3623) in advance of the meeting to make any necessary arrangements.

News of the Day — 6/16/16

The Minnehaha Conservation District will be selling excess trees this Tuesday, June 21st, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the District shed at 1120 E. 72nd St. N., Sioux Falls.  The cost will be $2.75/tree or $60.00 for a bundle of 25 of the same species, plus tax.  Cost of fruit trees is $30.00/tree, plus tax.  PLEASE CLICK HERE to see the list of what is currently available.
